Apple and Google comes together to develop new COVID-19 contact tracing technology

As the world is battling against the deadly Coronavirus, two major technology companies have joined hands to built a new contact tracing system using Bluetooth technology to help governments and health agencies reduce the spread of the virus. Apple and Google have announced that they will introduce APIs that enable interoperability between Android and iOS devices using apps from public health authorities in May, and will work to enable a broader Bluetooth-based contact tracing platform in the following months.
